HURRICANE  SANDY  UPDATE  - With family and friends in harm's way, my mind isn't on fleaChic today.

It's predicted that the area my son and his family live in will be without power for a week.  They're safe but uncomfortable.  It's frustrating to be so far away from loved ones and unable to help.  I truly appreciate the positive thoughts and prayers being sent out for everyone impacted by Sandy.  -- Jan

    1. Sandie, thank you for your concern. Luckily, they're ok, just without power for a while. Truly they realize how lucky they are. So many people have lost everything. It's times like this that make us appreciate what we have, isn't it? I'm so grateful they're ok. -- Jan

  2. Jan, I agree~~We love to have vintage fun and etc. but we know what truly is important! I pray for your son and family that GOD keeps them safe. They will BE STRONG and BE ENCOURAGED through this horrible crisis. Thank you, LORD for meeting every need they may have and those families who are being effected by this storm. Let them know who their true provider and protection comes from~~~and we give you thanks for answered prayer. Roxie

    1. Thank you so much for your strengthening words. Basically all they lost of the power - so many others have lost everything. They're thankful to be safe and appreciate the fact that it could have been so much worse. You're so sweet! -- Jan

  3. I do hope things get back to normal for them as quickly as possible. As you say, the main thing is that they are safe.
