Can't seem to find that perfect piece of art to hang over the sofa or fill the
huge naked spot on the wall?  Have you considered just writing on the walls?!

Graffiti artist Deck Two sketched a panoramic drawing of prominent
landmarks on the kitchen cabinets and walls of a New York City loft.

For those of us who can't afford their own personal
artist, we might consider script decals.

Maybe a favorite quote would suit you better:

 In Style Home
Actress Molly Sims had the lyrics of her favorite song,
We're In Heaven, by Bryan Adams,
painted on her living room wall.

Traditional Home

Designer Jeff Andrews' unusual style was featured in Traditional Home.
The inset reads:
"This is one of my favorite rooms," says Andrews.  "It's fun, and not just for
kids."  Over scaled pendant lighting adds edginess, flanking artwork by Los
Angeles artist Matthew Hall.  The painting is the lyrics to Madonna's "Little
Star."  The design began with the printed linen at the window.  The sofa is
covered in a gold chenille.  The khaki gold feel-good rug is forgiving.

I would choose Don't Stop Believing, by Matthew Heller, for my wall:

What lyrics would you choose?

Even a 3 year old would like to see
their favorite song on the wall!

How 'bout a touch of whimsy in the laundry room?

Net Interiors
Pop artist Keith Haring has expanded
his design empire to include wall decals.

The artist seems to be a little overwhelmed by his barking dogs.

Whether your taste runs toward the sophisticated or the silly, graffiti
and script decals add a personal, stylistic and inexpensive touch.
